Soooo I just recorded 2 hours of footage and OBS crashed 5 minutes in without me noticing. Will have to record all over again. Here's the 4 most recent logs. Can anyone help me find the cause?
PC specs below the log.

https://gist.github.com/anonymous/35f7cc41f380279d3bf57d5f4585780b

PC specifications:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 3.2 - 3.6GHz
- GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1060 6GT OCV1, 6GB
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB, 2400MHz
- Motherboard: MSI B350 PC Mate
- Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SSD, Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD
- PSU: Cooler Master V650 Modular, 650W

Notes:
- I use x264 because OBS gets stuck on "Stopping Recording" if I use NVENC.
- I am using -force-d3d9 on Cities: Skylines boot options because the game freezes if I run it on dx11.
- Drivers are up to date.

Thanks!!

This is not a crash log, please provide the crash log:

Press WinKey+R or go to Start > Search and type %APPDATA%\obs-studio\crashes and then press enter. Find the log with most recent timestamp on it, open it, and copy the contents to https://gist.github.com/ and then link here.

Lol I'm such a noob.
I updated my first post. The error log only had one line of text. I upload four different logs for analysis.
I'm using -force-d3d9 on Cities: Skylines because my game freezes if I run it on dx11.
Drivers are up to date.

The crash is in Nidia code. The fact that you have to force d3d v9 to get Cities Skylines to run is a bit worrying.

Check drivers again, remove any OC you added to you CPU or GPU and try again

I'll do that when I get home from work, despite already having performed a clean driver install in the past. I'm assuming the best way to do it will be with DDU?

Yes, DDU is the best way of doing a clean install.

As the crash is coming from the nvidia drivers themselves, there will not be much we can do on our side.

I have done a clean driver installation using DDU and the issue persists...

I forgot to mention something that might be relevant information (not sure if it will help but I'm getting desperate)
This is my first custom PC, built last August. All components are brand new and I have been having GPU related issues since the first days such as:
- Premiere crashing when previewing/rendering using CUDA;
- OBS stuck on "Stopping Recording" when using the NVENC profile;
- Cities: Skylines display freezing (sounds and game still run) a few seconds/minutes after the game loads when running on dx11 (have to downgrade to dx9 everytime);
- Random Cities: Skylines and other games (Rocket League) crashing;
- Random OBS crashes;
- Random Windows 10 blue screen crash.

I know these forums are OBS exclusive, but I have exposed this issue on Reddit, Steam Forums, Toms's Hardware and now Paradox Forums but no one seems to know. If there is anyone who has a clue what is happening with my system (apparently my GPU) and helps me how to fix it I will be eternally grateful!
Could my GPU (hardware) be defective? Could there be any conflict between my Motherboard and GPU drivers?

Thanks!

EDIT: My GPU is pre-OC and I haven't touched any of it's settings. It doesn't seem to run faster than 1949MHz.

A defective or failing GPU is sounding more and more likely.

Other things that can cause similar issues are unstable overclocks, failing system memory, motherboard BIOS out of date

I'm with Fenrir, additionally check your memory timing and make sure it's compatible with your motherboard. You could also use MSI Afterburner to monitor CPU and GPU temperatures to make sure your cooling is working

- As I have said, my GPU is pre-OC and it doesn't run past 1949 MHz. I have nonetheless under-clocked it a few days ago using Afterburner to 1700MHz (bellow its normal speed) and the issue persists.
- I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic to troubleshoot RAM issues and no issues were found. Also, it is compatible with my motherboard as it is running at 2400MHz and the motherboard supports 3200MHz.
- I flashed my motherboard when I bought it, so I guess it being out of date is out of the question.
- GPU temperature doesn't go past 70/71ºC, even when I ran the Heaven benchmark test (GPU showed no issues here despite small spikes of FPS loss: file:///D:/Unigine_Heaven_Benchmark_4.0_20171009_1942.html - copy/paste the link if it doesn't work)

Is there anything else I could be doing? If not, I guess I have to try to RMA it, which is something I was trying to avoid as retailers do anything not to give your money back.

Quick update for the random people who might end up here way into the future:

I went to the store where I bought my GPU and left my PC there for testing. After 3 days they concluded I have a bad RAM as it doesn't pass the memtest. I am currently running a memtest myself to confirm this before I take my RAM sticks to the retailer where I bought them.

I know a bad RAM module could cause the BSODs, but does it explain the screen freezing, something that is very GPU related? I bought my RAM at a different retailer and I am skeptical that my GPU vendors might be trying to do anything they can to not take any responsability.

PS: I would like to keep this updated for people who end up here in the future, but since this isn't exclusively OBS related I'm afraid it might be considered as SPAM. Is this ok?
