Question / Help OBS crashed so many times in 3 hours !!

Hello,

Im having problem came up recently, when i use VLC video source my obs work good for maybe 20 mintues then crash and shutdown !!

i reinstalled it several times and i reinstalled VLC also but there is no improvement !!

Here i will attach the log file and hope someone of the developers tell me what is the problem and how to solve it.

Are you able to share the media file that you're adding to VLC source that's causing it to crash?

The crash lo confirms it is indeed VLC source crashing, but it's unclear as to why.

its IPTV link .. do you think its from the link ? .. I don't think that the link will crash the whole software !! if anything wrong with the link the video will stop will not crash the application.

do you suggest me to reinstall the previous version of OBS and try?

I can see here in the forum there are a lot of problems with crashing many times.

The crash is definitely coming from VLC source, so yes, it can definitely cause the whole software to crash. OBS is one application, not many running at once.

No, I don't suggest that at all.

If you can't share the link, my suggestion would be to try it with a different link and see if it still has issues. It's very possible the IPTV link is what is causing the problems.

Better try Small version of the OBS Studio without browser source or remove all Browser Sources from your setup.

Your suggestion? 'Media Source'? How to avoid the crashing? User is not programmer, and the issue cannot be solved by posting logs...
