Question / Help OBS crashed 3 times, delay while scene switching

Hi,I had 3crashes during my last stream. Each time when I tried switching scenes with the Elagato stream deck xl.
My setup included 4 different external cameras (3 iphones and 1 zoom q8) plus the internal mac cam. I assume the reason for the crashes could be on the one hand the data traffic of the cameras or on the other hand the Elgato Stream Deck.

My streaming Mac that day:
15-Zoll MacBook Pro: 2,6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 (Turbo Boost up to 3,6 GHz) 6 MB L3-Cache,8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L(On-Board), Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M mit 1 GB GDDR5

And here are my questions:
1.)What do you guys think could be the reason?
2.)Are there any settings with which I could play a bit?
3.)I do have 36 scenes- is this a problem, too?
4.)Only 35 scenes are shown in the window- so the 36th scene is hidden. Do I have the possibility to see more scenes in the window?

I also experienced an issue with the stream deck when pressing a button for a scene switch. If I don't press a button on the stream deck for about 5-10 minutes sometimes when i press the button for e.g. scene 1 - scene 2 appears...
