Question / Help OBS crash or computer crash with AMD eyefinity

I run iracing quite a bit and have been having issues with trying to stream it the last few months. I have 2x 580 in crossfire (iracing doesn't support multi-GPU) and I also run triple screens with Eyefinity. Every time I try to stream, I get obs crash or I get a full computer lockup which I have to hard reset. I can stream other games while in Eyefinity like dirt 2.0 and ATS but I also get obs crashes. I thought it was a GPU maxing out so I turned down the graphics in iracing but still having issues.

If you have multiple GPU’s, disable the one that you do not want to use for streaming and keep only one enabled which will be used for streaming. If issue persists, create below regsitry, reboot the system and try again.

Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics
Right click on right had pane and click on “New”
Click on Reg DWORD.
Name it DisableHWAcceleration
Add value 0.

ill try it out and see how it works. Just for gigglies, I downloaded SLOBS and tried it. I can get anything from couple hrs to few mins without SLOBS crashing but then i still get the complete system shutdown or blue screen.

Well, lets see how thing goes with the registry key I had suggested. For testing, as you had used SLOBS, you can also try XSplit. Also, although I do not want to get into core windows crash troubleshooting, can you tell me the blue screen stop code?

well i got a couple of streams in but it started doing it with slobs and obs. here are the logs files from tonight and couple of the last crash files that are logged. I even got desperate and took out my 2nd AMD GPU and still the same thing. No i didnt write down the blue screen but might have the crash file tho. Yes i have a minidump file also
