Bug Report OBS crash after some minutes - Unhandled exception: c0000005

Dear All,

I use obs 32 bit version (I can't start 64 bit, allway says 0xc00007b error code), but every time crashing after some minutes (5-10mins) from start.
The problem appers when I use quicksync H.264 Codec. If I use x264 it Works (but not good for our clients and use more CPU)

I use on Windows 10 64bit operating System. The user Admin or not admin is irrelevant and the source of stream is irrelevant too.


Could you help what is the problem with quicksync H.264 Codec?

I have a very similar bug, using QSV on a x5-z8300... After arbitary number of minutes within 5-15 minutes OBS crashes with same exception and fault address.

Currently I'm trying Microsoft Visual c++ redist 2015, which I just installed alongside 2013.. Currently I got at least 15 minutes of streaming.. I'll see how it goes for longer streams.

Yeah.. Seems like first time OBS is after system start or reboot the stream works from anything around 4-15 minutes. Without restarting the system, OBS keeps streaming for at least 30-40 minutes up to around an hour and then crashing.. Is there anyway to go troubleshooting forward? The solution I'm working on is currently and AHK-script which just restarts OBS and the stream... I have to use AHK because I cannot see another way to detect when OBS crashes, since it displays the error message and doesn't just quit.

One of these issues is fixed in 19.0.0 (yet to be released).
