Question / Help OBS constantly crashing when streaming Overlord 2 (PC)

Well the title says it all.
I have been using OBS for aslong as its been around to use it.
Its been fine with so many many games that I completed while streaming them, honestly the amount of times it crashed I can count on one hand.

But now it has gone berzerk, I crash it constantly when playing Overlord 2 on the PC (steam version).
I can play for half an hour to an hour about and then the game freezes up, goes to pause and I find OBS has crashed with the "oops etc etc" message.

Here is the latest log, hopefully someone can help me out.

That log doesn't show anything other than you starting OBS. Post one of the crash logs.

ok how would I do that? the URL upload thing is only from this one.

Maybe this is enough?
Thats 3 consecutive logs if all is well.

(edit) wait I just found the folder for crash files, it all says the same:

Unfortunately it seems your GPU is unstable and is crashing. Make sure it isn't overclocked, is cool enough and has sufficient power.

Well that makes little sense to me, its the same card I have had forever,
I play GTA5 at taxing settings daily as do I play other games with no issue
and streaming of any game before this one (which was like RIGHT before this, not a lot of time in between) never crashed OBS.

And this game (Overlord 2) is not even taxing, easily doing a solid 60 at all times.

I has to be some sort of problem with the collaboration of OBS and Overlord 2 specifically that is resulting in the crash of OBS.

Well update, for those who still care....

Changed the renderer or whatevz in OBS from Direct3D to OpenGL.
Quite a bit of a performance hit but it works... well ok first 2 attempts the game froze up within about 10 - 15 minutes but after that and restarting the game I managed to stream for a full 2+ hours without incident sooo yeah.
