OBS connection issue

Just got a new Windows 11 PC at church for streaming and we are on a WI-FI mesh system.

OBS has been randomly disconnecting and reconnecting during the stream.

What could be causing that?
 
Wi-Fi isn't reliable enough for streaming. You should go always with a wired connection.
Please look into the pinned posts where you'll find useful info and how to fix many issues.
 
The WI-FI mesh system is different in that regard as it uses a main router and satellites with each satellite having two ethernet ports. So it basically provides ethernet connectivity and speeds without having to run ethernet cables to the router.

I found the issue awhile after making this post. The satellites were connected to the router, but were not synced properly so the backhaul (how it works like having ethernet cables connected to the router) wasn't working and the satellite is just far enough from the main to where it was dropping the connection some.
