Hi ,
Some background on my technical setup before I address my issue.
I have a 2 PC setup for my stream.
1. PC1 - i7-7700k , RTX 2070 (ROG OC 8GB GDDR6)
a. Displayport outputs to my gaming monitor (ASUS VG278QR 165hz monitor)
b. HDMI port outputs direct to my stream pc ELGATO HD60 Pro PCIe card input.
2. PC2 - Ryzen 5 3500x , RTX 2060 (GIGABYTE 6GB GDDR6)
a. ELGATO HD60 Pro PCEe card receives feed from PC1's HDMI out
b. OBS runs from this computer (PC2)
I understand that FB live is locked at 30 fps. I understand that if you become a partner with FB they will allow you to stream in HD @ 60 fps.
How does OBS know when to unlock the 60fps ? is it based on the streamkey that you key in that will unlock the 60 fps ?
I know this is probably more of a FB question but it is still relevant to OBS.
