Question / Help OBS Color Change/Bad Lag

still seems like you are dropping some frames:

16:02:18.135: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 3648 (23.9%)

This is caused by your GPU not being able to keep up.

As of the colors, it seems to be some messed up color conversion. Try recording to RGB colors (in advanced tab). That probably wont fix it but im not sure how you would. Sorry.

Also try 30fps to start rather than 60fps. if using CQP pick a higher number this should help with the lag as the nvenc cpu is being overloaded.

Its so strange because I thought a 960M was really good, if this info helps, im running OBS through my graphics card on the Nvidia Control panel

you're playing a wii game on PC are you not?
yeah im using an emulator and using game capture on it, i also tried sonic generations (steam game) and it did the same thing

is it possible to use a capture card on high end and it potentially working?

it depends on the game and how much GPU it uses. You can try x264 on CRF or Quicksync if your CPU supports it.

Or try lowering game settings and definitely keep FPS limited. Sometimes emulators arent very efficent.

You do know for a capture card to work you would need another PC to encode the video right? Unless you were going to play on console and use this laptop to encode.
