OBS Closes When I Press "Start Recording"

I have been using OBS Studio since 2020 and never had this happen. Every time I press start recording it will record for 2 seconds and close with no crash report. And the recording doesn't save. I've also read a different thread saying to change my encoder to "x264" and it didn't help much. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Next time this happens, re-open OBS, go to Help, Log Files, Upload Previous Log File. Copy and paste the URL in your response.
Do same for crash reports by going to Help, Crash Reports, even if didn't generate one.

You're not getting any traction with OBS until your Nvidia driver is updated.

Note

NVIDIA users may need to update their GPU drivers to 531.61 (Windows) / 530.41.03 (Linux) or newer.

Windows is also stale. EOL was over 2 years ago.

Windows Version: 10.0 Build 18363 (release: 1909; revision: 1379; 64-bit)

I updated everything I could possibly update on my computer including my GPU drivers. I even re downloaded OBS and its still doing the same thing.

Post the new log. Need to see what changed. You were trying to encode SVT-AV1 on the last log. Your processor isn't powerful enough, would need to use a faster preset than 8, quality starts to suck.

I'm using v30.2.2 but I do have an SVT Profile that works or I should say used to work. I gave it a test, OBS closed. Seems like a bug/regression with OBS/SVT encoder. Use NVENC.

Here's a few more items that should be knocked out while you're at it.

10:41:26.495: Game Bar: On > Off
10:41:26.495: Game DVR: On > Off

Create another Scene & move one of the captures to it. Only (1) Display, Game or Window capture per Scene to avoid interference.
