Question / Help OBS Classic is fine but I want Studio

Hi All,
I have run OBS-Classic for thousands of hours, it runs virtually without error. Sure, there are the occasional hiccups - but overall... worked great.

Tried to update to the new OBS-Studio - and basically nothing works. I can launch OBS-Classic and get maybe 100 packets drop for +/- 45min. I launch Studio and it goes to about 90% packet loss instantly.

Attached is the log. I noticed it mentions "bandwidth stalls" - however I'm unsure why OBS-Studio has this issue, but OBS-Classic doesn't seem to care?

21:29:27.394: Output 'simple_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 2049 (58.5%)

I can steady download/upload whatever for hours - no weird dips in service. Just Studio...

Halp?

From the log it is clear that you have 2500kbit/s limit (from the Twitch, I think). Make sure that the web-service itself allow to you to use more than 3500kbit/s.

Edit: numbers...

Edit 2: TwitchTest (Twitch Bandwidth Test tool)

The test results are good, then nothing to worry about. Just make new stream. And look what else application can use your bandwidth.

Right, so I think Suslik and I are sharing a brain :D

So I just launched a few video games to help determine if it's a CPU/Graphics/etc. issue.

Battle.net launcher
  • World of Warcraft = failed, like 60% dropped frames
  • Destiny = 0% Dropped frames
Epic Games Launcher
  • Fortnight = 0%
Steam (instantly began dropping frames)
  • Fallout 4 (no internet usage) - 3% dropped
So I'm kind of wondering at this point, if there isn't something "Non-OBS" going on here.

I also need to add- I'm only getting about 10% CPU usage during these frame drops. I don't know if it's related, or if I just added fluff - but figured it would be helpful.

Okay, updated driver, and recaptured with all the changes. See attached.
