ok, there was no plugin in use... just having plugins on the computer can do that ?

You have the VST plugin installed Used or not it gets loaded by OBS when you start it
This plugin is no longer under development since late last year and will start having issues as OBS changes with each update

maybe we missunderstod, there is no obs pluin installed, just the streamdeck one... there are some waves vst plugins on the computer. so could those plugins crash the unit without use ?
