Question / Help OBS choppy audio when using Elgato HD60 - HELP!

Hello,

I recently started streaming and posted on this forum a few days ago regarding video encoding issues with OBS. Over the past few days, it seems as if I have solved the video issue (I hope) but now my audio is choppy.

After trial and error (in addition to many forum posts), I'm currently using 2,500 bitrate, streaming 540, 25 FPS - those seem to be the only settings as of late that have worked (trust me...I've tried a lot). So, now that I have my video working, my game audio is choppy. I don't notice it with my webcam or mic audio - just game play audio when using my Elgato to capture Xbox One footage. Note - this is not an audio delay...it seems to be an audio buffering/stuttering problem. Additionally, I ran a test myself and just recorded game play from my Elgato through OBS (no streaming) and found that the audio is the same even when I'm not streaming.

Additionally, I checked "twitch inspector" stream checked and it says my previous stream was "excellent" but when I go back and watch, I notice the audio choppiness/stuttering.

PC Specs/Internet:
Dell Inspiron Laptop
Intel Core i5-62000 CPU @ 2.30/2.40GHz
8 GB RAM
64-bit Operating System
Running Windows 10
Internet download: ~15 Mbps
Internet upload: ~18 Mbps

Please help as I'm very new to streaming, OBS, and the Elgato capture card.

Thanks!
