OBS changing screen resolution when loading into a game?

Hello! This is a bit hard to explain but my OBS is having this issue when I stream dead by daylight. The whole time I'm in a lobby and loading into a game it's perfectly fine and the right resolution. Then a few seconds after I load into a game it snaps to a smaller resolution and will not change. It then goes right back the second I am out of the game and in the lobby. I have that scaling and aspect ratio filter on and I'm not tabbing in and out of the game. Do you have any clue why? Thank you!

If you run the game in true fullscreen mode, you can usually configure some resolution to use in the game options. If this resolution is different to your Windows desktop resolution, it doesn't match to OBS canvas resolution any more, which is usually the same as the Windows desktop resolution.
