OBS changes scene when I change APP, then come back

I am using Replay Buffer to save and then replay clips. This works great. But when checking my clips and go to File Explorer, then close File Explorer or just click back to OBS, the scene has changed. I have Advanced Scene Switcher turned off and no matter which of my 8 scenes I have shown it always changes to the same scene.
