Question / Help OBS changes pitch of my guitar?

Hi I started using OBS with my guitar going through a Line 6 Helix and into my PC, to record and sometimes stream my playing with video + audio at the same time.

But I've run into this problem that OBS changes the pitch, even as I listen to the playing through my headphones that are directly connected to my Helix, not just on the recording. So my guitar sounds completely out of tune and that is not cool!

It's simply added as an audio input source (Digital Audio Interface - Line 6 Helix) and as a audio output source (Speaker - Line 6 Helix)

Anybody have an idea why this is? And a possible fix?

I've already tried syncing the sample rate in windows and in OBS and it was synced, and changing it did nothing.

Actually it seems it changes the pitch of the audio not my guitar so that makes it slightly less weird. My guitar sounds in tune but the audio coming from my PC through the helix and into my headphones has a shifted pitch

Another update: It slows down my audio causing the pitch shift. Everything is completely fine until I start OBS, from then on all sound is slowed down and it's only fixed again if I close OBS and unplug my Helix.

And the final update: I think I managed to fix it by going with 48 khz sampling rate, I had set the sample rate on the Helix but apparently that doesn't affect USB, so it still sent at 44.1 khz. But setting everything to 48 khz fixed it (so far!!)

I know this is an old thread- but Bahra - do you have any tips on connecting the helix to obs? I'm connected via usb to a mac pro from helix - it shows up as an option in OBS but no sound... thx!
