Last year I started streaming on my Mac Pro 2012 with High Sierra, 20GB RAM, 4-core Xeon, stock 1GB video card, Hardline Internet w/Comcast Router, OBS and Minecraft, Pyramid Reborn and it worked very well, I just went back and looked at my archived VoDs. When I did retro hardware streams I was in a Windows partition with an ElGato GameCaptureHD
I just went to try and stream Minecraft again with the same MacPro now running Mojave, 20GB RAM, 4-core Xeon, 8GB Radeon RX580, Hardline Internet w/my own Router, OBS and Pyramid Reboen and it lags all to heck and back. I also for kicks made a HS partition and it still does lag hard in OBS. MC runs fine until I try to record or stream it and ooof. I've upgraded the GCHD to the HD60S+ so I can stream retro from the Mac side.
My other streams of retro stuff look and run fine, and all speed tests run the same so I don't think it's the modem, and it's all the same 1.12 modpack I ran before, did something under the hood change in OBS that I need to look at?
