Question / Help OBS causing PC to not establish new connections to internet

So something weird is happening when i open OBS and just leave it be. After a while something in obs is causing my pc to not establish new connections so chrome/firefox won't load any sites and just says that it can't connect.

Any twitch stream that happens to be open isn't affected and keeps working normally. Also on other programs that have connected before it stops will work normally until i try to connect again.

I haven't tested while streaming because i'm just trying to set things up. Also i'm not 100% certain it's OBS fault, but fairly certain of it because everything starts working normally as soon i close obs.

I just updated and this was happening on older version also.

This is probably caused by 3rd party firewall / network / antivirus software or a bad router. OBS makes a couple of of connections to check for updates on startup, then a single connection to stream when you decide to do that. It shouldn't be able to cause the behavior you describe by itself.

Yeah i figured that it wasn't OBS fault entirely. I don't have any 3rd party firewall, i have wired connection to my good router and i have avira's free version as antivirus. I also have CCleaner installed.

I also ran pingtest from cmd and it showed nothing special and on chrome it loaded a forum site but only as text version.
