I can run overwatch easily at 300+ fps but I have it capped at 150. When I start recording with obs I will continue to get 150 fps for a while then I will start lagging and dropping after like 20 minutes to 80-120 fps but it feels choppy like im getting 20 fps. Even if I close obs my game will keep lagging until I restart it. Also sometimes when I press start recording my overwatch crashes with "rendering device lost".
my specs are:
Intel i7-7700k 4.20GHz
16 GB ddr4 ram
GTX 1070
144hz monitor plus second 60 hz monitor
please someone help I really need to record my game with obs but I cant risk lagging
