OBS capturing partial screen, not full screen (bis)

Hi,

I'm a newbie with OBS. I planning to use it to record classes.

After I installed, I had the 'black screen' issue, and the 'not recording' issued. Both solved painlessly with forum and youtube help. (Thanks)

The problem I still have is that the OBS captured partial screen (or window), not a full screen (see the image). I found this old thread (2014, Dec), but no solution so far.

I have tried many things, but nothing worked so far!

Solved!

When I tried change the video resolution, I choose only the options which appear in the scrolled down ones... but I remember that I read somewhere that you could type other resolution. Mine is 3840x2160... I typed and voilá! It works. Simple as that!

I would like to suggest to the developers (besides to thank them for the amazing tool) to change the video selection resolution options, to make it more clear for the newbies like me that you can type other than those that appear there!

The drop down list should contain the resolutions of your active monitors too, there should be no need to type 3840x2160 if one of your displays was set to that.
