Hello guys,
I have problems recording in OBS. While I am recording, I have lags in the preview window of OBS and in the final capture file. I do also have the problems in the official Elgato 4k capture program. I changed the HDMI cable, I have changed almost every settings. really low resolution (720p 30fps, 6000kbits), the scaling filter, game mode on and off, file type, from CQP to CBR and VBR, different bitrates, different CQP level (30), ...) I'm out of ideas. I have a i5 6600k and a GTX 1070. I use NVENC. I tried also x264. This pc is only for recording. I play games on a seperate second PC. I capture the video from the gaming pc with my elgato 4k 60pro mk2. I have used also the Log Analyzer. He only said activate game mode (which I did). Note to the log: I have changed all audio devices to 48000KHz.
My CPU only uses maximum 15 percent and the GPU goes not higher than 30 percent while I am recording. The problems are also on my PS4.
