Question / Help OBS can't pick up hardware output from Voicemeeter

I've looked through the forum and found a few... kind of similar threads, but nothing with exactly the problem I'm having.

I'm running a 2 PC setup with Voicemeeter sending audio across via the network (VBAN). That's all hooked up and working fine, the instance of Voicemeeter on the streaming PC is outputting channel A1 to Speakers (Realtek Audio) which goes to my headset and that's fine. I can hear the audio from both PCs in my headset.

The problem is, OBS can't. I can add a Desktop Audio device in OBS and set it to the same Speakers (Realtek Audio) and it will register no sound whatsoever. No audio device given to me as a listed option will show the sound from the gaming PC, though if I set the Desktop Audio to Speakers (VB-Audio Voicemeeter AUX VAIO) it will at least pick up the sound coming from the same PC.

Here's a load of screenshots of all my Voicemeeter and Windows Sound settings on both PCs, as well as audio devices in OBS. Note that Desktop Audio 2 and Mic/Auxiliary Audio 2 were for testing and neither do anything.

Gaming PC (PC 1, not the one with OBS)-

Streaming PC (This is where OBS is installed)-

Audio Disaster- PC 2 Windows Sound.PNG

Audio Disaster- OBS.PNG

There is an error showing in VBAN on either side, though I don't think its relevant since I'm still hearing the audio from both PCs through my headset, so clearly its getting transmitted across fine.

REM: on gaming PC: you send nothing to output A1 (which is your SPDIF out, maybe not the best device for the Voicemeeter Main stream btw). I guess you understood the Ax / Bx button functions (is to send each source to related BUS = output).

Well, normally if using Voicemeeter, you are expected to mix all sources with to send them to OBS... then It can be confusing to ask to OBS to get signal from your speakers, the voicemeeter virtual input, and the 2 voicemeeter virtual output... where the name is not correct in OBS... meaning you have possibly a problem in Voicemeeter Audio Driver Installation... you may consider re-install it correctly as first step:
