OBS can only start in safe mode. Direct crash otherwise.

It stated with a sound desync developing over time during streaming a few days ago. After updating to Windows 11. I stream on a 2 pc setup with Teleport. As I was trying to solve my desync problem I installed the newest version of teleport on both my pc's and then rebooted. To my surprise, all my scenes were gone when I launched OBS. I tried to find a backup but could not find any. So I started rebuilding all my scenes. Which I managed easily, but when time came to reset the teleport setup the streaming pc would not see any of my teleport sound filters. So I figured that rebooting everything could not hurt. Big mistake. ^^ Since then OBS won't launch in normal mode on my gaming PC. Only in safe mode. I do not understand what is happening.


Here is a log file. Not a crash log since the latest one is from 3 days ago.

If you have issues with a third party plugin you should contact its dev via the Discussion section on the particular plugins' page or wherever the dev have set for this.

Updating a plugins shouldn't clean your scene collection or profile.
Run OBS as admin.
Verify any other plugin you may have installed.
In the logfile Teleport isn't installed but you can see the filters. Install Teleport or remove the filters.
