When I had Mac OS 10.12 and the highest version of OBS that said work with 10.12 my cameras were working fine. But when the Mac automatically decided to upgrade to 10.13 but I don't know whether OBS upgraded or didn't or whether up OBS is able to be upgraded or not, OBS suddenly decides to freeze cameras I wave my hand in front of the camera and there's no animation it was like one still every 5 seconds or something like that.
if my cameras are freezing is it better to downgrade my OS back to 10.12 should I upgrade OBS. Also I don't know if I have a 32-bit or 64-bit Mac and it looks like my OBS upgraded to 25.
keep in mind I wanted to do a simple show with just game footage in my hand / space footage not many special effects and most importantly not broadcast through the computer but use through the second monitor to a cell phone where you streamlabs OBS for Android.
the main reason why I'm broadcasting on my Android is my Android can easily get 10 megabits out where my home internet is guaranteed at maximum to be 400 kilobits out.
I don't know whether it's that OBS cannot run without the internal device running the network or whether it was an update issue where the current version of OBS doesn't work well with the upgraded Mac OS.
By the way my computer is a 2011 Mac Mini, and says the highest possible theoretical system is 10.13 if memory is maxed out to 16GB.
Should I go back to the OS 10.12? Would it be wiser to upgrade OBS and if able to if 16 gigabytes of RAM is enough to accommodate obs for 10.13?
