I installed OBS following the instruction at the home page and a little later I had to reboot the computer. Which led to a problem - the desktop environment wouldn't run, it was just a black screen with the cursor in the middle. So I had no choice but to restore the whole system from an image.
Also, almost immediately after installing OBS Steam wouldn't run and I had to click it several times until it started. And the Steam tray icon disappeared as well.
