OBS blocks desktop audio output

I'm using a Schiit Modi 3 as my audio device, with a Blue Yeti as my mic.

The PC desktop audio works fine when OBS is closed, but when OBS is open, the desktop audio (both from and outside OBS) goes completely silent.
I can see from the levels in OBS and the Windows volume mixer that the desktop audio is working fine, but it doesn't seem to be reaching my output.

Oddly, when I switch my headphones and audio output to the Yeti, I can hear the desktop audio fine even while OBS is open.

Figured out the problem in the end - the USB hub I'm using wasn't able to power the Modi 3, the Yeti and my webcam at the same time. It coincidentally only happened in OBS because that was the only application using all three devices at the same time!
