I'm trying to film something in gmod, however, everything I record is just a black screen with no sound. Just a few months ago it was working fine I never had any problems, but now all of a sudden I cannot record anything that isn't a black screen. I've tried other ways of capturing like display or window capture and I have tried running the program as administrator but it didn't change anything. I would prefer to just be able to use game capture. I've seen on youtube that maybe changing the graphic performance preference in windows graphic settings helps, but the only problem is that both the power saving and high-performance options are my Nvidia graphics card instead of one of them being the integrated gpu. I don't know if that's the problem or not but I've looked at other ways and the stuff that I see other people doing in tutorials hardly ever matches the stuff I'm seeing. So frustrating. I'm new to obs so if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
