I am using OBS 28.0.1 with Windows 11 pro 22H2 update just released on a Dell Dimension XPS8940 with an Intel i9 111th gen 16 core processor with 64GB of memory and an EVGA XR1 pro capture device. I have selected the EVGA as my video source, set its properties to the defaults, and configured OBS in Windows settings to use my NVidia video card instead of the integrated Intel video card. All I get is a black screen in the video window. I have verified that the video source (a VCR) is indeed outputting video. I have tried two different A/V to HDMI cables. I have also tried using an old USB 2.0 video capture card that worked in the past. Nothing seems to help- all I get is the black screen in the video window. If I switch my source to my Elecom Webcam, OBS shows the video just fine.
