Hello,

I have back screen with OBS (Windows 10) only when i am selecting windows capture, I want to record skype. I have The same behavior if i want to capture chrome, black screen. I have started OBS as admin, re-install it with no luck. I have recorded successfully in the past with OBS (skype). The only change i have made is that i have add a new card GTX 1050, previous i had the onboard. After that i have recorded one time only without a problem. Attached you can find log file also and a print screen from my PC.

Thank you

If Skype is metro (UWP application version) then you can't capture it with 'Window Capture' in obs.

No it's not.

The windows 10 calculator is a UWP app.
Chrome needs hardware acceleration disabled in its settings to be able to be window captured.
If you're on the 8.x version of skype desktop (rather than the windows store version) you also need to disable ITS hardware acceleration to window capture it.

To successfully capture the new Skype for Desktop version, you need to launch it with --disable-gpu --disable-gpu-compositing added to the shortcut. To do this, right click the shortcut, select properties, and add the lines at the end of the Target field (after the " if there is one). Please be aware that this may impact performance
