I am having an issue with my OBS - this issue being that when I open up OBS you would generally see the screen, however, for me it is black.
Same goes for recorded videos, when I preview my recorded videos in my videos library, the screen is black.
I have tried the following:
- Ran OBS as admin
- Granted 'authenticated users' full disk access
- Reinstalled OBS
- Winver is latest - 21H2
- OBS is up to date
- Done the typical fix (display settings > graphic settings > Desktop apps > Power saving)
- Fully restarted my device
- Ensured all my drivers are up to date
- Enabled 'run in compatibility mode for Windows 8' - I am on a Windows 10 machine, however, I work in IT and enabling that option has given me good results in the past despite the machine not being Windows 8
Is there anything else I can do? I have been sat here for the last 30 minutes searching through forums, videos and performing troubleshooting steps of my own, with no luck.
