Question / Help OBS bitrate spikes making stream a slideshow

I need help with an OBS issue, i normally stream at the VeryFast setting, 480p/30fps(sometimes 60fps) and at 2500kbps and it is fine for most games except lately with Borderlands 2, everytime in-game the bitrate spikes to around 5000-9000kbps for no reason, which is why its lagging but thats also why i use 2500kbps. I tried the fixes i found but none helped especially since u cant make a custom buffer with Very fast (0-1 = -1) you can't have a negative buffer so those are skewed to only higher end PCs. Hopefully someone can help, if u have any questions NOT regarding log file nonsense, i can answer them , I just want this solved so it stops spiking and no help i found so for was useful

Log files are not nonsense, they are needed to understand the settings you are using.

You mentioned nothing about running ultrafast and baseline profile in your post. Put those back to default (veryfast / high).

That doesn't help, there is a reason i set ultra fast and baseline, thats one that provides me the better performance on my PC while keeping stream good quality, and i tried veryfast/high and it still spiked to super bitrate for no reason with or w/o a custom buffer, only thing that affects the stream is the bitrate spiking far more than i can handle which is why i picked 2500, its mid ground and gives good speed (2500 base, spikes to 5000-7000kbps) and this ONLY happens with borderlands 2, any other game im fine with and doesnt make stream a slide show with super high bitrate that im not telling it to use in the first place
