OBS' Behaviour Changes with No Changes on My End (Streaming)

Hello,

I've been trying streaming, and OBS worked perfectly the first time I opened it. It captured my game, game audio worked, I could plug in or take out my headphones and my PC sound would change between the two of them.

Next time I use OBS, when I plug in my headphones, my PC speakers continue to play. Reinstall. New problems, game capture will not detect my game, and when it does, no game sound.

This is my latest log file from a fresh reinstall. My theory that I could just uninstall and delete user data and maybe stream after that failed, and this is the result. When it finally captured the game, it did not capture audio and my laptop would not put game sound into my headphones.

Really baffled by this software.

edit: looking over the log, I tried to run OBS as an admin, not even capturing video now.

It's correct resolution ?

Some Mobo have two diffrent audio output one for Speakers and other for headphones.
When OBS start with Speakers and now you connect headphones, probably sound is hear in headphones but not grabb. Check you system watch in Sound.

I changed my power settings for the laptop in every menu I found and managed to stream tonight, but I still could not use my headphones.

@Tomasz Góral I think I understand your suggestion, and the problem is I cannot get my speakers to stop producing game sound, or to produce game sound in my headphones. I will look into OBS settings for "system watch."
