Hello,
I have been doing a monthly trivia stream for nearly 5 years now, using OBS streaming to Twitch. Up to and including the December edition, I was running with very minimal problems. But then I tried to stream this month and everything went wrong.
The first stream was on Jan 5, I had everything ready to go, the discord call with my co-host, everything seemed normal... but then when I started to stream I was getting low kbps and more than 60% dropped frames. The stream itself was very choppy & low quality, and while I was trying to figure it out, my internet went down. it lasted about an hour, so I just chalked it up to my ISP and we rescheduled the stream to the next weekend (12th)
Come this past Sunday, I get everything ready, hop on discord, test my internet (seemed good) and hit stream... only for the same thing to happen. Dropped frames, low kbps, but this time my internet remained stable. I went through some troubleshooting, even used the Auto-Config Wizard and changing to the suggested settings, which ended up running in like 360p but even then the stream was very choppy.
I have no idea what the problem could be, the rest of my internet seemed totally fine, but OBS was just not streaming at all. I've included a number of logs here, from both weekends, as I kept trying to restart the stream to see if I had any better luck.
I haven't tried streaming with something else yet (downloaded streamlabs) but the next stream is Feb 2, so I have some time to troubleshoot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
