Question / Help OBS Bad Quality

Ok so I used to use OBS months ago for recording and it was amazing, good quality and everything was perfect, I stopped everything for months, gaming and recording and now I have came back and wanted to do the same but now it seems that OBS is not working so well for me, the game I'm trying to record is Fortnite, it all just seems really dark and shadey and it won't seem to go 1080p no matter what my settings are on, the game for me is clear and in medium graphics settings and it runs smooth when I record, I had to change MP4 to mkv because MP4 couldn't even record properly for some reason, it was all jiterry and jumping, full of lag, if anyone could help it'd be greatly appreciated. thank you so much

You are simply overloading your GPU

Seems like the YUV colorspace (advanced options of OBS) is wrong. Try to change from full to spatial (not sure if the AMF encoder has its own setting for that).

I tried the YUV setting I will let you know how it goes later, but is there anything else? prefer the short than long paragraphs, I read that thing about GPU, what can I do to make it better or not use as much? I read it but don't fully understand
