Question / Help OBS audio

Alright, I use loudness equalization on many of the games I play to hear the softer audio that often gets drowned out. The result of this is that the folks in my discord are nearly silent in my stream even though they are plenty loud for me because I have to turn them way down in discord or they are super loud for me (IE: They are plenty loud with normal sound, I turn on loudness equalization and they get ear bleeding loud, I turn them way down in discord so they are an appropriate volume, OBS captures the sound as if it didn't have loudness equalization.. really quiet) Is there a function that allows OBS to capture the sound exactly as I am hearing it instead of capturing it raw? Hopefully that makes sense.

Instead of doing loudness stuff in Windows (or maybe in addition to it), what about doing it with the compressor filter in OBS?

Also you'll most likely want to try using a Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) to help separate the various Windows-based audio sources you have running so you can better control them.

I think we're having a misunderstanding here. So the reason I have loudness equalization on in windows is to help boost things like footsteps in games for my advantage. So turning on settings in OBS wouldn't help me much
It sounds like the VAC might help me though, I will have to check that out to try and boost Discord volume without boosting the game volume. I will report back.
