Hello all!
We had an issue with OBS dropping audio (and video a couple times) last week. This week we have good video, however, audio is unreliable and seems to crash after a few minutes. Our setup uses an ATEM Mini for video/audio coming into OBS. We began today using the virtual camera through MS Teams--which worked fine for a while. Prior to last week everything worked well, now the audio is crashing all the time, even outside of Teams. I think we may be asking too much of this little NUC machine (description below). It is critical we find a solution ASAP. Our production rates are increasing and we now have a couple of projects only partially captured due to studio failures. It seems OBS is using at least 80% of the CPU and with only 8GB of RAM we may just be asking too much. If any of you can find evidence of the cause in the logs we would be grateful for a solution.
