obs audio clipping issues?

i have crystal clear sound in daw. nothing is clipping. i tried turning everything way down both on my interface, on my equipment , and in obs. i tried different bit rates, i tried vbr, i tried turning off a ton of channels, i tried streaming and recording. i tried all the options for encoding. I tried gain plugins to lower the gain many db.

im hitting a nice -10 to -12 db in daw programs. i can plugin the interface to ipad and it works no problem.

please help lol. and yes i rebooted.

i got it solved by changing my sample rate. sure the rules are make sure obs and windows match but i get clipping when i do that. it doesnt clip anymore if windows is 96 and obs is 48 which makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO SENSE.

could it be that i use a zoom r24 and it doesn play nice with win 11.
