Question / Help OBS as a Service

I have an Adobe Air game and would like to have a Record button that calls OBS on the output window (not the control area) of the game. Ideally, I would establish a profile with simple settings that saves to the hard drive with no OBS display. Is there ActiveX or similar process control?

Possible? Kosher within the terms? Thanks.

OBS does have an API you could use if you're comfortable with C bindings, however both Adobe Air and ActiveX are dead technologies so I don't think there will be anything to help you integrate into that platform.
