When I start OBS in Windows 11, the sound goes from stereo to mono. To confirm I play a youtube stereo panning file and while panning from left to right I will then open OBS. An audible "click" is heard and sound alters to a mono (I assume downmix) of the stereo sound. I cannot locate anywhere on my laptop (Lenovo T14) software interface where anything is being altered. OBS will then only record in Mono also even though none the of mono options are ticked off.

I have tried it with my head phones and just with my laptop speakers. Does the same thing. Once app is running it alters to a mixed mono output. This happens for any any media that is played on my laptop so I have to assume its altering the soundcard in some manner. Used a simple app like Screen Rec and I have no issues nor do I when using Xbox game bar screen recording which is native to Windows.
