Dear OBS experts and/or developers!
My company is one of many using Webex for virtual meetings.
In these days, a professional look is essential, so some of our users are looking for ways to do meetings with real green screens (chroma key feature).
OBS would be the perfect solution, but...
...the virtual cam of OBS cannot be used in the Webex Meetings client. It works perfectly well in Chrome, and I also had no problems with some other clients like Teamviewer Meetings. When I start the Webex Meetings client, I can choose 'OBS Virtual Camera' as cam. If I try to start the cam, I get this msg. (translated from German to English):
It's not a hardware issue. Tested with 5 different cams (2 Logitech, e.g. C922Pro Stream), tested on 3 different pc/laptops (all Windows 10, one of them 20H2)
Other virtual cams work with the Webex client. E.g. Logitechs 'Logi Capture' or the virtual cam of ManyCam.
To be clear: The Webex Meeting client is needed if you want to host a meeting. The host/presenter needs some functions you don't have in the web client, so it's not an option to use Chrome or another browser. Unfortunately :(
Is someone out there who has the same issue our has the solution?
Using OBS 26.0.2
Current version in use: Cisco Webex Meetings 40.12.4.7
