We have a - basically working, but due to the outdated OS and the missing contemporary streaming encoders useless - Tricaster Studio in our stock. Now this device uses a cutting console connected via USB, consisting of several buttons for reasy switching between live and preview inputs, a lever for transition control etc. (actually this one:
I wonder whether it might be possible to configure the controls of OBS to use this console ... is there a hidden "learning mode" as in e.g. MIDI control programs, oder would that be considerable effort?
I think there are a lot of these (now more or less useless) consoles out there, and if one can obtain it for little money, it would be an advantage using it in addition to the usual keyboard/mouse controls ...
