Question / Help OBS and Premiere Pro CS6 audio problem

I was trying to use OBS to do an audio recording for a video, so I added an Image and started recording. Seemed to work fine, when I played the video the image and audio was there. However, when I imported the video to Premiere Pro CS6, the audio is gone. I then tried again with adding an Audio Input Capture and then with an Output Capture, both had the same effect when imported to Premiere Pro. I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Premiere Pro seems to have problems with multitrack audio. You might need to extract the audio and import it into Premiere separately.

You can use Audacity to extract the audio, save it as .WAV files, and then import those into Premiere. That'll work.

I use ffmpeg to extract audio from OBS output, I suggested Audacity because I thought it was maybe going to be easier; clearly I was mistaken.

It seems easiest (for me) to just record the audio in Audacity and then put some effects on it to make it sound better.
