OBS and certain apps freeze, but don't crash (Win 11, Laptop, Log provided)

Been using OBS for a very long time now, but now I've ran into a hyperspecific issue.

With a few apps, when I have them running and then launch OBS, those apps will all of a sudden start freezing for 10+ seconds on loadings. Apps in question are GTA 2 and Retro City Rampage. Notably - both are 32bit apps. However that is not the end. I use HyperX Solocast mic now, which takes a usb slot, switched from my old 3.5 mic and if I unplug it during this "lag" it just goes away for a time being.

I tried recreating this issue on my other laptop, that I use for work, but to no avail - it just doesn't reproduce there.

My laptop is Legion S7 15ACH6 with win11, latest updates. I did update all the drivers that I could - Nvidia drivers for GPU, AMD Chipset drivers, Lenovo drivers - nothing helped.

While it seems that the problem is around this specific laptop settings / windows settings - I don't get any issues, unless I launch OBS. So I came to ask for a help or at least some new ideas. It isn't a super crazy problem, at least on surface, but I don't know what are underlying implications of such behavior.

Additionally - if I try closing OBS, while the lag is occurring, it won't do it. It will however work perfectly fine in any other aspect as if nothing is happening, which is extra weird, as none of this is in OBS logs. You can see that when I choose to close it it takes a while, while normally it would just close almost instantly. And what is even more mindboggling is that I don't need to have anything recorded nor captured. I can just stay on an empty scene and I'll still trigger the problem eventually.

The log that I provide follows this pattern - I start the app, I hit record, I do record until I get the glitch, I unplug my mic, plug it back, stop recording, then get to a lag again, then hit close and wait until it "unlags" itself.

Actually you know what - nevermind, that also happens if I use a discord, so it isn't an OBS issue. So if any app uses mic, then it can cause lag on those apps. So it is either laptop or mic itself, sorry to bother. But maybe anyone else had something similar - let me know.
