OBS always starts in top left corner

Hi all,

For reasons unknown to me, my OBS behavior has changed, to where it always starts in a small window in the utmost top left of my screen, whereas before it would always start in a maximized window, i.e. how I last left it.

When I click on it in the taskbar, it gets minimized; then if I click on it again, it pops back out fully maximized, so this is something that only affects it on initial startup, but it's still a nuisance, especially since this never used to happen before.

Admittedly, for reasons that I won't get into, I'm still on version 28.0.3 but everything was working just fine until about 2 weeks ago, and I'm not sure whether it's something I did; I don't recall accidentally hitting some kind of key combination or anything like that. I've looked and looked on the web and these forums, but most issues involving any mention of 'top left corner' seem to talk about what is being captured by/in OBS - however, my issue is specifically that OBS itself starts in a smaller window in the top left (see screenshot). The capture works just fine, however.

If anyone has any ideas how to fix this, it'd be much appreciated.

[Solved]

Actually, it seems that I've finally found the solution, but I'll leave it here just in case someone else is looking for this and can't find it.

Found the solution here - as per that user: "My workaround is to put OBS in windowed mode, close the app, open again, maximize and close again. For some reason it only saves the last position when in windowed mode, so it kinda resets."

This worked for me as well just now, though no idea what caused it and why it only seems to be addressable via this workaround.
Still, at least it's a fix. :)
