You don't need to uninstall the referenced apps, you just need to make sure they're not currently running.
Depending on Chrome's configuration, there might still some background process running even if you close Chrome. These background processes are what you need to terminate. Either there is a Chrome task bar icon that gives you the option to completely terminate Chrome, or you terminate Chrome the hard way with Task Manager by selecting the "Details" pane where every process is listed in a plain list, sort by name, and kill every chrome.exe you find (there are multiple, usually).
