OBS allows me to choose audio source but no audio is detected?

OBS is showing my audio device, which is an M-Audio FastTrack Pro, but when I play sound through my audio device OBS does not detect that audio so there's no audio on this stream. Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated!

ISSUE RESOLVED!!!

In case anyone is having the same or a similar issue on a machine running windows 10 home or pro, I solved the issue by going to "Microphone privacy setting" and enable it, or turning it on. It's disabled by default. Even though I was not trying to capture the microphone it has something to do with any app, program or software used for capturing audio.
