Question / Help OBS 64 won't open AAC Encoder

So OBS Studio 32 is working great (little high on the CPU usage w/ my Elgato HD 60 Pro and I've been told to try 64 bit) when I attempt to open it I get a pop-up error of "Failed to create aac streaming encoder (simple output)" I've installed apple's aac through instructions found here: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-studio-enable-coreaudio-aac-encoder-windows.220/ although I'm not sure if that's what I should be doing?

Any guidance would be great, I'm a recent convert from "the other" software and I'm super pumped with OBS just wanting to try out the 64 bit.

Is it just that the Elgato is using a lot of CPU? I'm running a i5 4690 and I'm running from 70-100% CPU usage whilst using OBS (this is a streaming box running only OBS and Pod Farm)

x264 encoding is VERY heavy, 64-bit offers no performance gains in encoding, and depending on the resolution you're running at, that may be part of the issue.
Post your OBS log.

Honestly, if 32-bit is actually working fine with no skipped/duplicated frames there's literally ZERO reason to use 64-bit.

32 is working great, just looking for a little bit extra headroom, ElGato was the one that suggested that I try 64 bit as their device may work better. I'll leave it be for now I reckon, thank you sir!
