Hello guys, I'm wondering if anybody can help me figure out what's going with the video files OBS produces. I'm trying to record Video at 59.94 FPS via OBS but when I import that video clip into Final Cut Pro and try to play from the very beginning of the clip, Final Cut Pro freezes with the spinning wheel. If however I place the playhead in Final Cut Pro anywhere that is not at the start of the video clip it plays fine. I think there may be some bug with the video that OBS produces that is not working for Final Cut Pro. The clip though plays fine with the Quicktime player. These video files are produced on my Windows gaming laptop running the latest version of OBS using the Nvidia NVENC H264 setting. The only fix I have found is recording at 60 FPS, the video file plays fine in Final Cut Pro. The problem is I need to record gameplay and camera separately for editing. I need to sync both videos for that and my camera can only record in 59.94FPS. I tried recording gameplay in OBS at 60FPS and the resulting video works fine in Final Cut Pro but the 60FPS gameplay eventually goes out of sync with the video the 59.94FPS video my camera produces. I think there may be something messed up with the resulting video OBS produces at 59.94FPS. Has anybody experienced this? Try recording in H.264 59.94FPS in OBS and try opening that clip in Final Cut Pro and play the clip at the beginning. I tried this on my two Macs and it happened the same.
