OBS 30 does not support the OBS ASIO plugin

Just joined up to help out with anyone else having issues with this.

I use the obs asio plugin to have more control of my interface's IO. I use a Focusrite Clarette+ 8pre (which has a slew of issues on it's own). All the mic/line inputs are coupled together into stereo pairs when viewed in Windows Sound options. the OBS ASIO plugin allows my to separate the individual inputs into mono tracks which is necesary for my workflow.

After updating to OBS 30, I lost the ability to select any channels in the dropdown menu. I backed down to the last stable version of OBS 29 and I regained functionality. Hope this helps.

Best to post this (also?) directly to plugin thread. though, are you referring to https://github.com/Andersama/obs-asio/releases which doesn't have a Plugin thread here... that I could quickly find ??
Looks like last release of plugin was over a year ago. so, from the Ideas and Suggestions forum thread on ASIO, looks like the developer works directly from github site bug reports, etc.
IT is common that you need to check/wait for plugin developers to update their plugins for compatability

Hello @JMBabies, I did the same rollback and it worked for me. For anyone wondering why and how, I use the plugin Advanced Scene Switcher to automatically switch scenes (cameras) for my video podcast setup using each mic as a trigger. For this to work, each mic has to be recognized individually and this can only be accomplished on a multi-channel audio interface with this plugin. Otherwise, you need several audio interfaces or USB mics that are recognized as individual sources. In Properties for the input, I select Focusrite USB Audio as the device and then select the mic input I want as the OBS Audio Source. @Warmuptill is the genius behind Advanced Scene Switcher...perhaps he can lend some insight into how to fix this issue. I would hate to have to scrap my audio interfaces and mics so I can keep using Advanced Scene Switcher.

A OBS 30 compatible version of the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin can be found here:
Note that you have to be logged into GitHub to be able to download it.

I will try to release a new official OBS 30 compatible version of the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin this week.

Thanks @Warmuptill. Just need someone to update the OBS ASIO plugin or I'll have to keep using 29.

I was about to suggest that you create an issue on GitHub but it seems that this was already done:

In this GitHub issue it is mentioned that a fork of the plugin is available which seems to fix the OBS 30 incompatibility issues.
This is just meant for your information - I personally did not test / cannot vouch for this fork.

Seems dead to me. Great plugin. Allowed me to use my Behringer Ultragain Pro-8 which allowed for the auto scene switcher to work but that didn't last long. Now it's worthless unless I can figure out a workaround. So Open Source is about as reliable as government work?
