OBS 29, start streaming button not working

hey all. I've been using obs for over a year so I'm pretty versed. recently I installed obs 29 on my m1 Mac. I'm using the exact setup as I am with OBS 28 with the exception of Heller's new aitum plugin. I use touch portal button to stop and start my stream and recently my start stream isn't starting. I assumed it was touch portal. I switched to manually starting my stream with the buttons. everything is set up to auto start stream with my YouTube. I've never had issues with my stream starting before and it didn't happen with OBS 28. this week I thought the work around was using the button manually but today is the 3rd time the stream hasn't started, I have to force stop stream, go back to manage broadcast, select the scheduled live stream again and select/start streaming. today I had to do it 3 times before I connected. I know YouTube takes a bit longer to connect than twitch does, but again I've been streaming on YT for over a year and twitch for 2 so I have my setup on lock. wondering if there is a bug .. I have to go back to OBS 28 this week and see if it really is a bug with OBS 29 which is why I'm posting here. is anyone else having issues with their live streams starting? no issues with recording.

btw, I'm not streaming vert in aitum, or using it really at all, just saying it's installed. I use it from time to time for backtrack but today I didn't use it at all. I'm streaming normally to YouTube only

I can confirm now that this is only happening on my OBS 29 and not on OBS 28. go live function isn't working .. it's intermittent at best atm.
